AI and Safeguarding

AI and Safeguarding

Date: Thursday 28th November 2024
Time: 4:30pm – 5:30pm
Venue: Woodston Primary School, Celta Road, Peterborough PE2 9ER

We are honoured to have Karl Hopwood, independent esafety expert, whose session will provide an overview on the latest risks and challenges that are facing children and young people online – as well as those who work with them. It will place a particular focus on AI, and highlight opportunities as well as concerns, and consider how education staff should address these.

Come and see his engaging presentation, as Karl shares his wealth of experience as:

  • an in-house consultant for INSAFE
  • a member of UKCCIS (UK Council for Child Internet Safety)
  • an advisor for the UK Safer Internet Centre and the education advisory board for CEOP.

We are offering one free place for each school’s DSL, as well as free places for all our members, as this training is crucial for dealing with safeguarding in schools today. We will have refreshments available. There is also plenty of parking in the school car park.

To join this training, scroll down to register your place.
